The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially released the schedule for the UGC NET December 2025 examination. Candidates aspiring to appear for the exam can check the detailed notification on the NTA’s official website – nta.ac.in or ugcnet.nta.ac.in. The UGC NET December 2025 exam will be conducted from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across various centres in India.
The examination will comprise two papers held in a single session of three hours (without any break).
- Total Marks: 300
- Total Questions: 150 (Objective-type, Multiple Choice Questions)
- Exam Duration: 3 hours

- Correction window: November 10 to November 12, 2025

APPLICATION FEE
The application fee varies according to the candidate’s category:
- General/Unreserved: Rs 1150
- General-EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs 600
- SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: Rs 325
The fee payment can be made online only through debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI.
