Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda, has released the notification for the Telangana Integrated Common Entrance Test (TS ICET) 2026. The registration process for admission to MBA and MCA programmes across Telangana will begin on February 12, 2026, and continue until March 16, 2026.
Eligible candidates can check and download the detailed notification from the official website of the Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) at icet.tgche.ac.in.
Exam Pattern and Qualifying Marks
The TS ICET 2026 examination will consist of three sections:
- Analytical Ability
- Mathematical Ability
- Communication Ability
To qualify, candidates must secure at least 50 marks out of 200 (25 per cent). However, no minimum qualifying mark is prescribed for candidates belonging to reserved categories, as per existing norms.
The university has also made mock tests available online to help candidates familiarise themselves with the exam pattern and prepare effectively.
Eligibility Criteria
For MBA admissions:
Candidates must hold a Bachelor’s degree of at least three years duration in any discipline such as BA, BCom, BSc, BBA, BBM, BCA, BE, BTech, BPharmacy, or any other three- or four-year degree, excluding Oriental Languages.
For MCA admissions:
Applicants must have passed BCA, BSc, BCom, or BA with Mathematics studied either at the 10+2 level or during graduation.
Unreserved category candidates must have secured a minimum of 50 per cent marks in their qualifying degree, while reserved category candidates require at least 45 per cent marks to be eligible.
Exam Day Guidelines and Penalties
Candidates appearing for TS ICET 2026 must report to their examination centres well before the scheduled start time. The authorities have warned that impersonation or unfair practices may attract strict legal action, including imprisonment ranging from three to seven years, with or without a fine between ₹5,000 and ₹20,000.
