Nagpur University has decided to holding the pending Final Year Exams 2020 from 1st October 2020 onwards. However, the varsity has decided to hold the exams in completely online format with the help of a dedicated mobile application i.e. RTMNU Pariksha.
The decision to hold RTMNU Final Year Exams 2020 from 1st October 2020 onwards was taken by the varsity after a review meeting held on Monday – 28th Sept. The exams will be held from October 1 to 18 as per the university’s time table. During this period, the university will hold 186 exams of four faculties for which the question bank is ready and moderation is almost completed.
Exam to be held via Mobile Application
Taking a unique approach to holding of the Final Year Exams 2020, the state varsity has decided hold the examination in online format via a mobile application. Nagpur University’s Board of Examination Director Prafulla Sabale informed that students will be required to download ‘RTMNU Pariksha’ app from the Google Playstore or website of the Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University on Android-based phones to appear for the examination. He also added that the app provides students all the necessary instructions regarding the exams and also a mock test, which the students can take for practice.
Exam Pattern
Further providing information about the Nagpur University Final Year Exams 2020 being held by the varsity, Mr Sabale said that the online exams will consist of 50 multiple choice questions. Of the total number of question, students will be required to attempt or answer 25 questions. He further added that each question will be worth 2 marks.
For Final Year Exams, the university will not be following any negative marking scheme and therefore students can solve more than 25 questions as well and the best 25 of the total attempted would be considered for compilation of Results.
