Renowned author and illustrator Dr. Devdutt Pattanaik, will deliver the keynote address at the fourth Orientation Day of Indian Institute of Art and Design (IIAD), set to take place on July 22, 2018, at the Seminar Hall of IIT Delhi. The purpose of the Orientation is to introduce and welcome new students and their families to the IIAD Community. The event is also a means to familiarise the enrolled students with the resources and facilities at IIAD, rules and regulations, and the calendar of academic events.
Commenting on the announcement, Dr. Jitin Chadha, Founder & Director, IIAD, said, “We are delighted as IIAD gears up to take a new batch of spirited designers under its wings. Each year IIAD accepts students to its design programmes in Fashion, Communication and Interior Architecture Design, offered in collaboration with Kingston University, London. Dr. Pattanaik’s keynote at this year’s Orientation will also, I am sure, provide the new batch of freshers that extra bit of insight and guidance, before they set out on a very critical part of their life’s journey – a good college education.”
The event will also be marked by the presence of IIAD’s esteemed dignitaries and stakeholders that include the Chairpersons, Director, Dean Academics, Dean Outreach & Corporate Relations, Administrative Head and the Faculty Members and Staff of IIAD.
