How do you design the courses as per the requirement of students of various ages?
We specialize in dealing with young learners. We categorize our courses as:
Basic: These are for the very beginners in the field and need to learn for advanced technologies
Advanced: For an advanced learner
Career pathways: Students who are completely new to a domain and wants to start from scratch, all the way to Pro with a job-ready profile
Job Guaranteed Programs: For industry ready professionals
Now, the training phase is self-paced, with Content Videos, Dedicated Teaching Assistants, and Live Sessions with the trainer, and Interaction with the community, candidates from across the country undergoing/undergone same training, via a communication platform. The next phase is with Candidates undergoing Exams for global certifications like Microsoft
Technology Associate, Foxmula Associate Degree, etc. Industrial Exposure of all the projects undergoing Production level development for Clients or our own personal ventures, a small part of those projects related to candidates training is given to them as Work from Home Industrial Internship. Candidates are supposed to work on it and submit it to us on our GitLab for evaluation. This ensures they get to work on live projects and overcome real-life issues. We have started testing and implementing, many new initiatives, and models to deliver the best possible experience of ‘The Smart Way’.
What is your USP?
Our firm is a community of students to earn Industry-Oriented Skills via Training, Global Recognition via certifications from MNCs, networking, and exposure via industrial internships. Now, our Internship model, we are using it as a crowdsourcing platform, where growing businesses and corporations can get the required workforce, our trainees, for mass projects at almost zero cost. We have our growing offline presence as well, FACEs (Foxmula Authorized Center of Excellence), in different locations for learners who are not yet comfortable with e-learning. It’s not just our Franchise model that makes us stand out, but also our exclusive service FoxmulaX, with a Guaranteed job. All the major operating e-learning platforms, which we do not see as competitors but more like fellow colleagues, are also trying to benefit and influence users with their e-learning services just like us.
Your views on AI and Machine Learning?
Based on surveys, 75% of America’s teachers believe digital learning tools will entirely replace physical books. While many industries are aggressively investing AI solutions, global investments are forecast to achieve a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 50.1% to reach USD 57.6 billion in 2021. That’s why even we at Foxmula have very creatively designed our Machine Learning and Deep Learning programs with applicative training, networking, certifications and industrial experience with Internships. The outcomes of amalgamating technology with learning process have absolutely revolutionized education systems across the globe. After all, it would be almost criminal to not support and put it to good use.
Tell us about your expansion plans?
We must say, our growing college tie-ups and acceptance, has given our expansion plan an early motivation. We remodelled and started implementing our expansion/acceptance plan by adding offline centres as our FACEs and including exclusive services for the talented crowd with Guaranteed Jobs (FoxmulaX). Foxmula Student Chapters, like the one in Chandigarh University, our CMS, and App service are also part of the plan. Now, reaching the rural areas was one big of a hurdle. Initially, we believed that the issue is temporary as with growing Government and MNCs initiatives, more and more areas are being connected daily. But with the unexpected rate of acceptance and proof of demand, we decided to act on it by initiating our Offline presence with centers and college tie-ups.
What are the challenges?
One of the hurdles, for us two, was being Undergraduate Engineering Students. College strict attendance obligations left us with very less working hours to visit potential clients, organize meetings, etc. Another big challenge was Company Resources, on the name of which we literally had nothing. And that’s why, for Inversion Consultancy, we had to start working with a Freelancing model to meet the client’s end requirements. Hundreds of eLearning platforms being the competitors, the challenge was getting into the traditional roots to create a trust and worthy factor for our services and brand. Though India is a widely growing space for the eLearning market, still the crowds hesitate to pay an average ticket size of 5000 INR for online education services. Especially when well know eLearning platforms are offering a ticket size under a couple of Bucks.
For the success of Foxmula, what kind of indicators you are measuring to achieve a long-term goal?
Social benefit and influence, on a personal and global level. Happy faces, responses and feedback not just from users but Universities as well, is what keeps us focused and motivated to rise and be able to deliver more.
