IIM Calcutta is going to award degrees to more than 500 students at the annual convocation on April6. We know that IIM Calcutta is a renowned institute for management studies. The IIM Calcutta is going to hold its 54th annual convocation on April 6, 2019. During the convocation, many students will be awarded their degrees that they have earned through their hard work. The degrees will be awarded in the presence of the chief guest N.R. Narayana Murthy, who is the co-founder of Infosys.
As many as 500 plus graduates and around 100 diploma students will be given the degrees. Some students will be awarded two year MBA degrees while some will be awarded one year executive MBA degrees. All these degrees will be given on the annual convocation of the IIM Calcutta. Apart from that, some students will be awarded diplomas for Post Graduate Programme for Executives for Visionary Leadership in Manufacturing (PGPEX VLM). There are some students who will get their degrees for Post Graduate Diploma in Business Analytics (PGDBA). There are some research scholars also who will be awarded PhD degrees.
The Indian Institute of Management Calcutta (IIMC) was established as the first national institute for Post-Graduate studies and Research in Management by the Government in November 1961. Over the years, IIMC has grown into an institution with global reputation and imparts high quality management education. It offers Post Graduate and Doctoral level programs, Executive Training Programs, Research and Consulting Activities.
Now-a-days, the institute serves as an autonomous body. Soon, the institute is going to hold its 54th annual convocation.
