IISER Tirupati Post Doctoral Research Fellowship Program (PDRF)

IISER Tirupati has invited the applicant for Post-doctoral Research Program to inspire and motivated young researchers to conduct research in the frontier regions of Science and Tech.

Applications are invited twice annually, in April and October, for the appointment of Postdoctoral Research Fellows (PDRF) in a variety of research areas.  These positions are open for applicants with 0-5 years of experience after acquiring the PhD degree in associated areas. Candidates who have submitted their thesis and awaiting award of degree may also apply. Candidates must provide evidence of having completed high-quality research during or following their Ph. D. program. The award will be initially for a year, with an extension for an additional year following a review of performance.

Candidates will be shortlisted based on the quality of their research proposal and work. The final selection will Be made based on each of the aforementioned criteria, specific area of performance and research in the interview, prior to the final Selection is made. Fellowship: Rs. 47,000 /p.m + HRA as per GOI guidelines if the candidate produces the Ph. D. certification. Otherwise, Rs. 35,000 /-p.m + HRA as per GOI rules for all those candidates whose Ph. D. degree is awaited;  On the other hand, the candidate must produce a letter from the competent authority by stating that the thesis was Submitted and the last viva/defence is pending. The nominal research grant will be available under this program.
