- The Ministry has also forbidden coaching centres to publish details of quality, facilities, results or students testimonials, sparking reactions among parents
The Government of India’s move of banning children, under 16 years age has gathered many loggerheads. The government of India had given directions previously to coaching centres that they should not charge exorbitant fees from students and provide psychological and mental health support to them, along with fire safety and building safety norms as per the latest guidelines released by the Ministry of Education for regulating private coaching centres across the country.
This move of prohibiting students has put several parents and children in a fix. Children who have been appearing for their intermediate exams are now facing problems in enrolling in a coaching centre who further want to take training for several competitive exams. According to sources, parents have been largely hit by this move because it has been stopping their children’s education leading to serious issues to their children. Parents are fuming over the sudden decision, because coaching centres play a key role in teaching subjects necessary for cracking all types of competitive exams and also give the desirable training to children important for their all-round development.
The Ministry has also forbidden coaching centres to publish details of quality, facilities, results or students testimonials. This has sparked many reactions among parents because they feel their children’s hard work and their results must be shown to the public, in order to understand their efforts being put in studies. The action taken by the Ministry has provoked many coaching centres, which are planning to take legal action against this sudden change.
