Savitribai Phule Pune University which is commonly referred as the Pune University is likely to hold Pune University Final Year Exams 2020 for college and university students in October 2020. In the light of the current situation, Pune University will provide the option of both online and offline modes of exams to students and depending on their convenience students can opt for either of them.
While the exact date for SSPU Final Year Exams 2020 is not yet out, the varsity plans to hold the exams for final year students between October 1-31, 2020. Most likely, the exams for backlog papers would be held from 1st to 9th October followed by term-end examination for all final-year degree students.”
As stated above, SSPU is planning to hold the Final Year Exams 2020 for University Students in both online as well as offline format. This is being done to address the challenge of digital divide and availability of internet connection with all the students.
Therefore, now it would be upto students to make their choice whether they want to give the exams online from their home or come to designated exam centers to appear offline for the exams. However, the decision regarding which mode they pick will have to be conveyed to the university in advanced. The varsity will soon make arrangements for the same on its official website, where students will be able to fill their preferences by logging through their individual IDs.
To facilitate conduct of exam in a simple and easy manner, SSPU Final Year Exams 2020 will see MCQ type question papers with objective questions. Each subject will see a question paper of 50 mark which will have to be attempted in a time-frame of 1 hour.
However, there are already voices of protest against holding of exams in the MCQ type or objective type format from students of Pune University. In such case, it would be interesting to see what decision does the varsity take, going ahead.
