The Jamshedpur Chapter of the Indian Institute of Metals(IIM), arranged a function to felicitate Mr. Anand Sen, President, TQM and Steel Business, Tata Steel on his becoming the President of the Indian Institute of Metals. Mr. Sen took over as President at the 72nd Annual General Meeting of Indian Institute of Metals, The felicitation function was held at the CFE Auditorium and attended amongst others by members of IIM and senior professionals of Tata Steel, National Metallurgical Laboratory, NIT Jamshedpur & other organisations. Prof Karunesh Sukla, Director NIT, Jamshedpur was the Guest of Honour in this function.
Dr Mita Tarafder of IIM welcomed the guests and deliberated on the various activities being done by Jamshedpur Chapter. Dr M D Maheshawari, a senior person of this Chapter spoke about the prestigious achievements of Mr. Anand Sen. Dr A N Bhagat, Chapter Secretary proposed a vote of thanks. An e-poster completion was also organised just prior to this program & prizes were given to winning teams.
