To provide hands-on experience within the industry, students from The Design Village (TDV) participated in India Design under a volunteer program. This program aimed to create a platform that not only exposes students to the brand perspective but also allows them to forge meaningful connections with architects and designers. The objective of this program was to offer students the opportunity to engage firsthand with the intricacies of the design world.
Under the mentorship of seasoned experts, TDV students engaged in diverse projects and activities during India Design. From assisting in installations to shadowing professionals in their day-to-day tasks, participants gained a multifaceted understanding of the industry’s intricacies. Beyond technical skills, the program emphasized the development of soft skills such as communication, teamwork, and adaptability – qualities essential for success in any design discipline.
