Do your research beforehand to find which halls of residence have the best Wi-Fi. Connect to previous year’s students through social media and know about the residential halls from them.
Type of Room
When it comes to student accommodation, many options available. A single room with a shared bathroom in a flat, or a room with an en-suite bathroom, or even a shared room in a flat. Decide what is most suitable for you, narrow down the choices to make the whole house hunting process easier.
Safety
You’ll want to feel safe in hostel, therefore before signing a contract, make sure that you are well aware of the security measures. Many student halls will have security guards patrolling the grounds, but if not; make sure that the place is well-staffed, has a 24*7 reception desk and emergency helpline number available.
Activity Areas
While at university, many of the friends will also be living around you. After a long period of studying hard, you might also want to relax and have fun. Here the common areas are important places to hang out, go for some activities, play games etc.
