A home maker turned entrepreneur, Sneha Khatri, 30, the founder of papersnclips.com has been successful in creating a name for her brand within a short time period. She is aiming to spread wings of her online store across the country in the near future. papersnclips.com is a one-stop online store for all your stationery needs and party décor items with innovative products and lucrative pricing. It also specializes in selling return gifts, art & craft, and fancy kids’ items.
Q. How did the idea of establishing a Start-up stuck on you. Any previous experience that led to this idea
I always wanted to help my husband in the family business. We run Bhagwan Card Centre, Hyderabad a stationery centre that is functioning from last three decades. With an aim to expand it further, I thought of going online with the same products. This led to the birth of papersnclips.com. Apart from the products of our parent store, I also have few innovative products adding up to my online store. I don’t have any previous experience in business but the support from family made this happen.
Q. What are the challenges that you faced when you set out to become an entrepreneur? Who played the mentor role for you?
The biggest challenge was and still is to handle kids at home and taking care of business at the same time. However, my family has always been very supportive and so I was able to do an entrepreneurship development course and thus I began my journey!
My greatest critic you can say is my husband Ajay Khatri. He is the pillar of my strength and it’s all because of his motivation I could start and begin the journey. My biggest mentor is my brother in law Viral Thakker. He has taught me a lot of aspects of online business and how to go about it.

Q. You ventured into business not very long ago. But, what advice would you give to those aspiring to become entrepreneurs?
I would give a single advice from my learning. Do not start until you have a complete plan of the business in your hand.
Q. Where do you see in five years from now and what are the future plans?
