For the National Eligibility Test (NET) the admit card or hall ticket is going to be released on the National Testing Agency (NTA) website, ntanet.nic.in on May 15, 2019. On June 20, 21, 2019 and June 24 to 28, 2019 in two shifts the UGC NET or NTA NET will be conducted. From 9:30 am to 12:30 pm the morning shift will begin and from 2:30 pm to 5:30 pm the evening shift will begin.
The syllabus and exam pattern for UGC NET 2019 has been changed by the NTA. Along with updating the syllabi for all the exams, this exam will be conducted online in a CBT-mode.
Steps to download the admit card are:
- The candidates have to visit the official website, ntanet.nic.in.
- You have to click on the link ‘admit card 2019’, which is on the homepage. Now a new page will appear.
- Using the registration number you have to log-in. You can check your admit card.
- After downloading the admit card you have to take the print out of the same for future reference.
Without a valid admit card, no one will be allowed to appear for the exam. The duration of the UGC NET exam is three hours. There are two papers. There are 50 questions for 100 marks in paper I and there are 100 questions for a total of 200 marks in paper II. This NET exam is an eligibility exam for the posts such as assistant professor and junior research fellowship (JRF).
