British Council has announced a slew of postgraduate scholarships for Indian students across diverse fields from the academic year 2022-2023. British Council in association with the UK government’s Great Britain Campaign and in collaboration with other British universities, has announced a total of 20 GREAT scholarships for Indian students across 16 leading universities in their country for various subjects like marketing, music, HR, design, psychology, entrepreneurship, humanities, finance, business etc.
Apart from this, a total of 7 GREAT scholarships are available for Justice and Law, and students wanting to study subjects like criminal justice, human rights and commercial law in the UK are invited to study. The scholarships provided will be a minimum of £10,000 covering the tuition fees of a one year post graduate course. In addition to this, the British government has announced 6 fully funded scholarships to be awarded to Indian English teachers for their study at two universities for their post graduate learning of English teaching. This opportunity is available for English teacher’s working with primary or secondary government schools in India. 3 out of these 6 scholarships are being offered for a face to face/fulltime M.A program at the University of Leeds. The rest of the three are online/part time M.Sc programs being offered by the University of Sterling which will have a fully funded residential visit to the university as an integrated part of the program. The interested candidates should secure an offer from the university before applying for the scholarship.
