U.S. astronauts named Christina Koch and Jessica Meir are the part of the first ever all-female spacewalk.
They shall replace the power source on the International Space Station (ISS).
This shall be the first time where the spacewalk includes only women.
To quote of a previous instance, a spacewalk was cancelled in March due to ill-fitting suit. The position was later replaced by a male.
Hence, these moments shall be important and special as the achievements will provide inspiration to the world.
The spacewalk will be broadcast in its entirety from 6:30 a.m. EDT (10:30 GMT) on National Aeronautics and Space Association (NASA) Television and on the agency’s website.
