IIT Madras and Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) have joined hands to launch an M.Tech program in Industrial Artificial Intelligence for working professionals.
The 18 month course which has been designed in consultation with the country’s largest IT services company, TCS will be offered by IIT Madras in an online live teaching mode, via virtual classrooms.
The course aims to upskill corporate employees in the applications of AI and solve industrial problems. The first batch of students will be from TCS itself. The program will include theoretical courses and lab work comprising of data science and AI. The theoretical courses will include fundamental mathematical techniques that would help students have a grasp on time series analysis, data science algorithms, multivariate data analysis, deep learning, machine learning, reinforcement learning.
