The JEE Advanced 2019 exam has been postponed due to the General Elections. The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Roorkee which is responsible for organizing this entrance exam this year will conduct the JEE Advanced on May 27, 2019 (Monday) instead of May 19, now, according to the official statement.
The National Testing Agency (NTA) which is conducting the JEE Mains exams was also rescheduled. Now, this exam will be held on April 7 (Paper 2 – B. Arch/ B. Planning). From April 8, 9, 10 and 12 the Paper 1 (B.E/ B.Tech) will be held.
The students who clear the JEE Main are going to eligible to appear in JEE Advanced. These exams will be conducted online on CBT-mode. The qualifying candidates for JEE Main can enrol for admission in engineering and architecture-related courses in any college. The JEE Advanced is mainly used to get admission into the IITs.
