The JEE (Main) exam session 1 which was supposed to be held in April this year has been postponed to May 2022. The JEE board had to postpone the exams due to its clash with the board exams. “Meanwhile, representations are being received from the candidates seeking the change of dates of Session 1 of JEE (Main) – 2022 on account of the clashing of their Board Exam dates with the JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1,” the agency added. It declared that “In view of the persistent demand from the student community and in their support, National Testing Agency has decided to reschedule the dates of JEE (Main) – 2022 Session 1.”
The former dates for the first session of JEE (Main) exams were:
- April 16
- April 17
- April 18
- April 19
- April 20
- April 21
The revised/new dates for the first session of JEE (Main) exams are:
- April 21, 2022
- April 24, 2022
- April 25, 2022
- April 29, 2022
- May 1, 2022
- May 4, 2022
The cities will be intimated by the NTA in the first week of April 2022, while students will be able to download their admit cards from the second week itself.
