- How did you become a professional photographer?
Being a journalism student, the idea of being a photographer wasn’t really on the horizon. While in college, I interned as a tech writer, but, that didn’t really satisfy me. I always had a thing towards photography. Out of this inert passion, I bought myself a camera. I loved clicking pictures and I got myself a camera. Surprisingly, some of my pictures got featured in quite a few prestigious places and that appreciation kept me going.
- What is the scope for photography as a career option?
Given the growth of technology and social media, photography, as a career option is growing and will see a significant growth. So, there is immense scope for photographers in India today.

- How much does the photographer make?
I am firm believer of the fact that talent and passion can help you mint money. Here, you might get paid even on the basis of per hour, per day, per week or just work as a
permanent employee. Freelancing assignments like fashion photography, weddings and other celebrations are great opportunities to make money. Speaking in terms of money, I get paid anything from ₹10,000 to ₹15,000 for a day’s work.

List of skills can be a never ending one. George RR Martin will finish writing the Game of Thrones series before I complete the list of skills required.
