The Maharashtra government has announced that the state will conduct end-term exams for only those students who are in final year of their college and university.
It has been announced that exams will commence on July 1 and will end on July 31 as per UGC guidelines. The statement has been released by Uday Samant, Higher and Technical Education Minister.
What about other students?
All other college students will be promoted to the next year. A 50-50% graduation formula will be used to promote the students. The formula says that 50% marks will be based on performance of previous year and 50% performance will be awarded based on the current year.
ATKT students too will be promoted next year, but will have to clear papers in 120 days once the term starts.
