Nagaland state government has announced the summer vacations for the schools and colleges in the state from April 29, 2021, onwards. The government has also announced the closure of Cinema Halls, Museums, etc due to the increasing COVID-19 cases in the state.
According to an official notification released, the decision to close the schools and colleges for summer vacations was taken considering the spread of the virus. As per the details mentioned in the official notification, the summer vacation in all the schools and colleges will begin with immediate effect and all the coaching vocational institutions and hostels will also be closed. Online classes will however continue for the students.
Nagaland Board Exams 2021
Nagaland state government had earlier announced that it will conduct the Nagaland class 10 and 12 board exams as per schedule. As per Nagaland Education Board, the students who were unable to appear for the class 10 and 12 board exams will be given a second chance to appear for the Special Test for the Nagaland Board exams 2021.
Only those students who were tested negative will be able to appear for the Special Exams which are being conducted by Nagaland Board. To appear for the exams students were required to submit an application form by April 28, 2021, for the class 10 exams while the applications for class 12 are to be submitted by May 5, 2021. The Nagaland Board will be conducting the exam by following the COVID-19 guidelines and maintaining proper social distancing at the exam centres.
