National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to open Test Practice Centres (TPC) for the students from September 1, 2018, for conducting NEET, NET and other important examinations from the CBSE. The TPCs will remain open every Saturday and Sunday, and the students can practise at these centres free of charge.
The TPCs will have Computer-Based Test (CBT) similar to the actual test, which can help candidates know important things like logging into the system, going through the instructions, navigating between questions, reviewing and editing their answers and submitting the same.
The TPCs will help the students on how to use the system on an actual day, and NTA will also establish country-wide training centres for the students.
About 2,697 schools/engineering colleges are being made available that will act like the TPCs in the coming days.
NTA has been established as an autonomous and self-sustained testing body to conduct entrance examinations for admission/fellowship in higher educational institutions. It will also conduct examinations for engineering, medical as well as management courses including JEE Main 2019, NEET 2019, and CMAT 2019.
