The Indira Gandhi National Open University that facilitates lakhs of students to undertake courses in a distant learning mode plans to launch 4 more online courses by from July 2019.
The courses include MA in Hindi for 2 years, 2 certificate courses in Tourism and Food Safety respectively. The name of another course planned by the IGNOU will be revealed once they get permission from UGC (University Grants Commission).
It is to be noted that the course structure for all the new online courses that shall be launched soon will have the same timelines followed with online examinations conducted across 56 regional centres of IGNOU.
The university shall embrace the four quadrant learning approach that includes e-gyankosh, e-learning videos, IGNOU’s web-based TV channel Gyankosh and online evaluations.
