National Test Agency (NTA) has released the notification for Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) main test scheduled to be conducted in January 2019. Students interested in applying for admissions to undergraduate B.Tech, BE and B.Arch courses are required to fill the JEE Main 2019 online application.
The online application forms would begin from September 1, 2018, and will close on September 30, 2018. The last date to pay the fees is October 1, 2018. The online applications would be available on both nta.ac.in and jeemain.nic.in.
NTA would conduct the JEE Main 2019 in two papers. Paper I is for admission to B.Tech courses and would be conducted in two shifts in computer-based test mode. The morning shift would be from 9:30 am to 12:30 am. The afternoon shift would be from 2:30 am to 5:30 pm.
For admission to B.Arch courses, the students would have to appear for Paper 2, which would include three parts, Part I, II and III. Part I is Mathematics, Part II is Aptitude Test and Part III would be Drawing Test. Part I and II of Paper II would be a Computer Based Test and Part III would be a pen and paper based drawing test.
Paper, I would be conducted on 8 days in two shifts on each day. Students have the option of selecting either of the days to appear for the examination. Paper II, however, would be conducted only in one shift.
As announced earlier, JEE Main 2019 would be conducted twice – once in January and once in April 2019. Students can appear for either of the two or both the JEE Main 2019 examinations.
In case the students choose to appear for both, the Better of the two scores of JEE Main 2019 Result would be considered for a qualifier for JEE Advanced 2019 as well as for JEE Main 2019 final rank.
