Nearly 3,000 candidates were chosen for various job roles like customer relations executive, human resource-junior executive, beauty therapist, machine operator and sales executives in a three-day Skill India ‘Rozgar Mela’ which concluded on October 28, 2018.
‘Rozgar Mela’ is organised by the National Skill Development Corporation (NSDC) in many cities and the mela has been active in connecting thousands of youth to employers, UP Deputy Chief Minister, Dinesh Sharma said. Addressing at the closing ceremony, he added, ‘We are committed to creating and providing employment opportunities to the youth of Uttar Pradesh.’
Contributions of Mela
The Skill India’s ‘Rozgar Mela’ gave a great chance to many job seekers of Lucknow to learn more about potential employers and various employment opportunities that are available, which even includes entrepreneurship.
Similarly it also offered a platform to the organisations to meet potential employees in an informal arena.
The ‘Rozgar Mela’ brought suitable job seekers in direct contact with recruiters, HR managers, admission officers and advisory bodies/training providers.
