New Delhi: The freshers of different colleges from the Delhi university are requesting for a gap in the academic calendar as many students and the faculty were affected with this dreadful pandemic. Approximately 250 students from St. Stephens college submitted their plea to the Principal John Varghese.
Due to the pandemic even the admissions got delayed and their II semester is still going on . One of the Ist year student even told that the Principal had understood the students trauma.
The emails were being sent to Principal of different colleges read- Really it’s a sad plight of the students and the staff who are really suffering. The mid teens are unable to cope up with the academics. The stress that they are facing these days doesn’t know where it’s taking these young boys and girls. We see a hue and cry in every nook and corner of the lanes, really what tragedy the young students are facing.
Another major reason the students wanted a break was they want to volunteer themselves and help those who are in need and those who want encouragement and uplift the people who are suffering by losing their loved ones.
So don’t get panic fight it attack the virus boldly and face the challenges boldly.
