Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha echoed the traditional respect for women in Indian culture, stressing their vital roles in creation, knowledge, and protection. He expressed hope for the conference to significantly contribute to India’s development goals and praised the university’s initiatives in promoting women-centric programs.
The first day of the conference featured seminars across various departments, focusing on discussions related to women’s skills and relevant topics. With representatives from over eight countries and more than 800 delegates, including 28 international participants actively participating in sessions, this year’s theme highlights the crucial role of women in research endeavors.
Chancellor Gopal Narayan Singh noted that the Governor played a significant role in Goa’s fight for independence. Now serving as the Governor of Bihar, he is dedicated to enhancing the quality of education. The presence of such esteemed individuals in any institution positively impacts its growth and progress. He remarked about the endeavors of Gopal Narayan Singh University, stating that through their institution, they are actively contributing to transforming the state’s educational landscape. Historically, during times of national turmoil, mentors have guided students who have later become instrumental in the nation’s progress. He urged participants from other nations to carry back with them the reverence for women that exists in our culture.
