Central teaching eligibility test (CTET), a national level examination is inviting the applications for the examination, which will be conducted in July and December. This year, the exam will be held on July 5, 2020. The registration will end on February 24, 2020, and the last date for submission of fees 27, February 2020.
The exam is divided into two papers-Papers 1 and 2. The teachers who are aspiring to become a teacher of classes 1-5 need to apply for paper 1 and teachers for higher classes (6-8), can take up Paper 2. Those who are willing to take classes from 1-8 can appear for papers 1 and 2.
Get the application form from the website ctet.nic.in with the application fee of INR 1000 for one paper and for two papers it is INR 1200. For reserved candidates, it is 500 for Paper 1 and 600 for both the papers. The eligibility criteria changes accordingly, verify the same on the website and apply for the exam.
Mode of the examination will be offline with duration of 150 minutes. The pattern of CTET examination will be MCQS allowing 1 mark without any negative marks.

The qualifying marks are 60% for General category and 55% for reserved category.
Validity period
The validity period CTET exam will be up to 7 years from the time when results were declared for all the categories. There are no restrictions on the number of attempts you make for obtaining a certificate. You can even attempt again and improve your score if you’re not satisfied with the present score.
