With each year, the expectations for a better and advanced technology increases. Every person has a wish list to own that Hi-Tech PC or smartphone or some other gadget. Here is a wishlist that needs to be fulfilled by the big tech companies in 2019.
Self-driving cars
This idea has been around for quite a few years as Google stated their work in progress in this regard. Many other automobile giants have also taken up the idea to create self-driven eco-friendly cars. Tesla has successfully brought out cars with this autopilot option but only to a limited usage.
These cars use virtual maps and sensors to drive accurately. As these technologies are readily available and constantly going through improvements, there are high hopes to see the launch of this technology next year.
Wireless laptop Chargers
Rather than carrying around heavy chargers and making our work motion slower, wireless chargers would be a great next big thing. Many companies have tried to come up with the technology but failed as the charging units were not powerful enough to juice up a laptop battery. Already, wireless chargers are a big thing in the smartphone market, then why not laptops? Dell and Intel have already showcased laptops working lag-free with wireless chargers. 2019 might bring about a new change.
OLED touch screen as keyboards
Standard keyboards, mouse and track pads are still preferred by many but considering the usage of touchscreen devices nowadays, a similar innovation in this field of laptops and PCs would be the new big hit. Apple already has moved on this path and incorporated an OLED touch bar with the MacBook Pro.
Asus’s latest Zenbook is launched with OLEd touch screen trackpad. Lenovo also has used the technology where a touch screen base can be used as keyboard or drawing tab. Future is bright as OLED screens will replace the keyboards.
Modular Devices
This was a big hype and Google tried their hands on modular smartphones but shut down their project after a year. There are several other brands like Motorola, Fairphone, Hydrogen One, etc that have come up with Mods and add-ons. These accessories add or attach themselves to the phone and enhance the experiences in different ways.
Modular TVs and gaming consoles are also being worked upon and the future may see whole new array of devices that change the technological experience in the New Year 2019.
